So think all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All they have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to them.

Does gollum have a pocketwatch, Gandalf, the wise? And do you know whether Mr. Vagaries is at all interested in giving away the books? The contest seems neverending, but we giveup not. The time shall come when the poor hobbits will get atleast a part of his collection.

That would make it a triply locket-locked pocket.

But then, that was a different quiz. Thats over now and
we had the winner too, remember.

A tasket in hand is worth two locketses in the pocketses.

The End
[info]jnagal
2006-01-13 01:09 am UTC (link)
ok, time's up!

Gollum ofcourse has got no pocketses. He being the skimpiest clad male fantasy creature ever.

Some might logically postulate that since he hath no pocketses, therefore he has nothing in them. nada. zilch. The above statement contains a number of logical fallacies; that is, invalid propositional constructions and syllogistic forms. This claim, therefore, is pure bullshit. One cannot prove this but it "is" in the same sense that Mount Everest "is", or that Alma Cogan "isn't".

I seem to have digressed. In a nutshell, all answers are wrong, even if they
were amusing. As far as my own pockets are concerned, that is none of your bloody business, kindly stay away from it.

And for the prize, I have consulted the higher authorities and in a sort of lucky draw, it has been decided that the books should go to Smi(ta). Congratulations, you shall be receiving them soon.

That's it from this round of gfb. See you again, in the next episode.
